hmm
A.Z ……
I feel embarrassed even talking about him let alone commenting .
Your blog is really good ,i never know that You are that much interested in politics but just for telling you that the comparison should be between Manmohan and Gillani (i.e PM to PM ) . A.Z and Abu kalam (their president).

@above
considering how the comparison is supposed to be between the chief executives of the two nations, its ok because India’s in the PM while Pakistan’s is the prez, if I’m not wrong.
nonetheless….how again did Zardari get elected?

What an irony! Democracy has been the real difference between India and Pakistan. The reason Pakistan did not catch-up with India’s progress(whatever small it has been) lies somewhat in absence of a stable democratic government.
A democratic and stable Pakistan is in best interests of India too.

Well, the reason for pakistan’s ‘oh-so-non-democratic’ being lies in this very blog post by Ayesha (hats off). We blaim the army, the people, and everyone else for not letting the democratic tree grow to adulthood but what the real problem is IMHO is this : feudal lords and families holding on to their chairs and positions as political leaders. This has to go away. We never seem to care what a person is like, what his credibility is and what not and let him/her be elected.
Ayeshah, do you know where we can find such CVs of Nawaz, Gilani, Altaf and other so-called learned politicians? I’m quite sure this would be the worst, but im also sure that from other CVs, it wont be very honorable either.

Amazing post reflecting the intellect of the two individuals…. regardless of Manmohan Singhs cv , he still gets his strings pulled by someone else and look at Zardari he is all in all atm can Manmohan Singh do that?. Another thing is that leadership in my opnion doesnt come from extensive education or writing books etc and i do not wish to imply that Zardari is any good none the less neither is Manmohan Singh :D.

No matter how negative President Zardari’s personality is,there is one thing we all hafta accept. Those are his planning traits. The man is excellent at planning and hitting the spot at the right time.
