Iqra!!! or Read for yourself

I came across a very interesting video today that shows how the media networks are simply confirming the lies put out by the maulvis or the so called custodians of Islam…who then go on to issues fatwas or death sentences on people…mostly because of the general public having no idea of what the Quran actually says… If only more people actually picked up the Holy Book for themselves and double checked whatever they were being fed… half our issues wouldn’t exist… do take a look at the video below and let me know what you think

This has been done for so many years and for so long that most people don’t even know what the truth is anymore. IQRA…READ for yourself… Yusuf Ali does a good translation if you are looking for English… I honestly believe this is the real Jehad for today… getting the truth out to people and working against these mischief makers. The movement today is not liberals against conservatives… as I believe everyone returns to God and answers for their own soul and its not my business what my neighbour believes… but its Truth vs Lies!!

  1. Ma’am Ayeshah,
Please don’t delete this comment. I want to share my POV.
    I may be wrong.

You want the truth. I want the truth too.
I also don’t agree with people taking law into their own hands. But here are some of the stuff I believe we should also mention.

Point 1: Doctor Fareed Paracha is not an Aalim. So I don’t need his word on Islam.
Point2: I agree with the concept that people should not mislead other people into believing lies BUT I don’t trust the person who made this video. I doubt his intentions.

I’ve been using Youtube for a very long time.
    – I know for a fact that when you sign into Youtube and what you search and view on Youtube is added into the suggestion box for your users/video viewers.

    – This guy is into youtube channels (AntiIslamic) like
    OnlineBibleMinistry
    AtheistMediaBlog
    noyourkoran
    SpinozasPsyche
    1001Phoenix
    ChristianZionist
QuranVsHadith (Epecially this one. The video maker (38 year old Aussie guy) has subscribed to this channel. What about the people who believe in Ahadiths?)

Last Point: I don’t get this idea when liberal people choose to battle stuff they don’t agree with — using references from the Quran when they don’t completely agree with Quran. Isn’t that hypocracy too. Don’t get me wrong. I am not a religious extremist. I am also against religious hypocrisy.

    • Dear Faisal. Thank you for Ur point of view and in response I would lime to say two things. I will go to Ur last comment to begin with. Liberal people can believe in the Quran as well :) may come as a shock but there u have it. Don’t know about others as that’s not my place to judge I can only speak for myself on my own spiritual journey. :)

Secondly if u doubt the gentlemans intentions who made the video that’s good. Do u know in the madarssas there was a time when Doubt was taught as a subject. As it is only in asking questions that u will seek answers. Having said that I think (personal opinion and something a teacher taught me) that no matter who says anything about the Quran please go and double check in the Quran! So all u need to do is pick up Ur Quran and verify what’s being said. I’m sure u must have a version at home. To be honest I don’t even trust the ones on the net I prefer my hard copy right in front of me. Yusuf Ali’s translation is my preference. So that way those who are false and spread lies u will be able to see for urself as opposed to depending on someone to tell u :) just my humble opinion.
